Bill Withers died earlier this week at the age of 81. The music world is now reacting to the loss of the legendary soul singer-songwriter. Bill Withers had a relatively short but immensely successful and influential career. He made his debut in 1971 with Just as I Amthe album featuring his hit single “Ain’t No Sunshine.” He released just seven more studio albums, closing out his recording career with the Columbia release Watching You Watching Me in 1985. Withers was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
